I'm 21 years old and I am living in St. Paul right now. I love attention and can never get enough of it. I adore little kids. I am going to be a teacher when I graduate; I used to really want to teach kindergarten but now I think 4th or 5th grade might be fun...all I know is that I don't want to teach kids older than 6th grade. I know I am tall and I know my hair is long, I hate when people feel the need to tell me either of those. I used to have pink extensions in my hair but people always had to point out the fact that I had pink in my hair, it got annoying so I took them out and now just have brown hair. I am a really really picky eater and it drives people crazy. Pomegranites are my favorite food; when they aren't in season, chocolate is my favorite thing to eat. I usually know how to get what I want. I am obsessed with the color pink. I love to watch soccer and hockey but I don't play any sports. The Minnesota Wild is my favorite team ever. I love country music, WE Fest is the highlight of my summer. I also like other kinds of music. I love going out to Spin Nightclub on Thursday nights when I don't have too much homework, but my favorite club is the 90's on Sunday nights, if you haven't been there you should at least try it once. I am really shy at first but after I know people for about 5 minutes, my crazy side shows through. The most unattractive thing a guy can do is chew tobacco, a close second is smoking; if you do either of those, stay away from me. Finally, I'm obsessed with myself...like it or love it.

I love to laugh and make others laugh with me, I find humor in everything and that is reason enough for me to try anything at least once. I love being spontaneous and doing anything to break the doldrums. I love talking and spending time with fun people in any situation. We only live once, right? Meeting new people is a great opportunity and I almost never miss a chance to make a friend or maybe more. I love animals and nature as much as any city guy can, I take most every opportunity I can get to get away and enjoy whatever I can outside of my normal life. I like to kick back and watch TV or a movie or just lay around and enjoy what peace I can. Only problem is sometimes my movies require a snuggle buddy. I'd love to meet you and make you smile, don't hold back that cute/dorky side either. What's the point in anything if you can't be yourself?

I am traditional in some sense and very modern in others. I want a career and to earn the bread but I wouldn't mind making it also with some help from my partner. Hope that makes sense. I think I'm a pretty open minded person.

However I'm not in ANY kind of hurry to find someone. I'm more of a low pressure kind of girl, hangout and see if something develops. If not that's okay, if so, that's cool too. I'm an amatuer comic book, novel and other writer who would like someday to do it pro. My dayjob is at wal-mart on the salesfloor. Well I am never any good at writing these things. I have been living in Minnesota on and off my whole life. I am very straight forward, I tell it like I see it. I'm just a 26 year old guy living back in the cities after college. It's tough making new friends here after college, but I'm giving it a shot. I am an inquisitive guy that is always doing too many things at once. I am always learning. I love food and I will try most anything, if people should and do eat it. A recent revelation: I hate ballet because it is not fun to do, nor does it feel very good in the body-mind connection. So I am dropping it (was taking it at recommendation of Theater advisor) and pursuing Tai Chi instead.

So back to important stuff. "Nosce te Ipsum." Know thyself. Know myself? Hrm. I think I have a good idea of myself, but knowing is a stretch. I invite people to help figure it out with me but I warn them that it may be very, very frustrating, and encourage the "good idea" approach instead. Scenes of darkness and light both intrigue me. I am a comedian in my head and an author at heart - both love to tell stories and make people happy. I believe that horrible things in our lives can bring us all closer together as a people; as the movie I heart Huckabees cleverly explained, the shit of human drama acts as fertilizer for the growth of our connectedness - I firmly believe that this is the right idea. I may hurt you with what I say because my natural state of inhibition is similar to that of most people after having a shot. Then I'll feel really shitty about it and try to make things right, whenever possible. (See adjective: very empathetic) For the same reason, I also make a great listener / shoulder to cry on / repository for shit you just gotta vent. I can be a lot of things all at once; harmonic death metal like Opeth and light alt rock like Snow Patrol both appeal to me, and sometimes I can see both sides of things so clearly that I run into walls. It's been a while since I've updated this, so I figured I might as well. I hate talking about myself so I'm generally very very bad with these sorts of things.

I am very very shy when I first meet people, almost to the point of it being a personality flaw. However, once I warm up, I'm very laid back and easy to get a long with. I love spending time outside and try to be as active as I can. I love wakeboarding and snowboarding. I also love spending time with my friends and playing with my niece who is currently the love of my life.

I went to school in Winona and am currently about three semesters shy of graduating with an English degree. I plan on going back at some point, but I'm not sure when yet. I want to get some of my debt back under control before taking out even more loans.

I tend to be a very sarcastic individual and this gets me in trouble quite often. However, I am very rarely serious and try to make it apparent when I'm joking. I hate offending people and get very sad when I manage to do so.

I am also very open when it comes to most aspects of my life. I try not to hide anything so I'll answer most any question. That being said, feel free to ask anything.

I don't put up with a whole lot of bull shit when it comes to people and/or relationships. I have had my fair share of bad relationships and even an abusive one and I finally realized that I know what I want and I know what I'm worth. Anything less and it just will not fly with me. I am a self proclaimed nerd girl, completely in love with all things romantic and science fiction/fantasy. I'm cheerful (for the most part), and love all the little beauties in the world. I'm an avid movie watcher, love to read (fluffy stuff, not so much the classics. Yes, I know, shame on me.) I'm going to be a librarian once I get out of college, which is pretty much the ideal job for me. I also enjoy writing, fiction mostly, leaning on the romantic/sci fi side. I enjoy the simple things in life, the outdoors, good food, meaningful conversation. I spend alot of time reading, to the detriment of my social life unfortunately. Cheese or anything containing cheese can be listed among my general interests, and although I'm one of the least picky eaters you'll ever meet, I have a profound appreciation for great food. One of my life goals is to write a book, most likely an autobiography. I would love to end up as a teacher in the not so distant future, I love kids and they seem to like me once they get over the height difference. If I can't teach for some reason I'd like to work as a therapist. I like to think of myself as very accepting of all people, regardless of their shortcomings. I can be fiercely independent, but I generally prefer to rely on others, since it reminds me I'm not alone in this crazy journey we call life.

So yeah, my name is Apollo. No its not some random name I use for the interweb, my name really is Apollo. I suck at writing/telling things about myself. I guess I should point at that I am indeed a bipedal vertebrate. Warm blooded and prefers an oxygen rich environment to live in. As it says up there, I'm nocturnal, not due to some outlandish lifestyle, but because I work nights. It pays well and for the time being it works schedulewise. Major fan of sci fi and video games. Star Trek, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, Star Wars, and Dune are my 5 domains of sci fi which I have a great deal of knowledge of. When it comes to video games I can be found playing first person shooters like halo, fun violent games like God of War, and classic games link Pong. People have refered to me as Sasquatch before based on the fact that I'm fairly tall, and usually seem to be unshaven and scruffy. In the music department, I'm into rock. Eagles are the best in my opinion. Hotel California is made of awesome and win. I also tend to read a lot of books.

Now that I've written this self survey...which wasn't easy cause I don't particularly like writting things about myself, I dont like seeming overly braggy or vain, I'm gonna stop...yeah.

The things I enjoy most is traveling, music and my work. I have traveled all over the world, I enjoy all music besides Phish for some reason I just dont like Phish. I love Hip-Hop recently been listening to a lot of local hip-hop including Atmosphere, Saint and Eyedea. I have the coolest job in the world and I love to go to it. I am a really nice person and I try to help everyone I can.

I'm a family man with a wife and two teenagers that don't seem to need me (except when they need cash :D ) as much as they use to.
I'm a closet writer of short stories I don't want my kids to read.
I stay fit working out 4-5 times a week. I dont' have 6-pack abs, but no keg either.
I love traveling. My kids and I went scuba diving for a week last summer in the Florida Keys. The year before we took a week long road trip camping and hiking in Glacier National Park (The most beautiful place in the US imho). We've taken a bus tour through Europe. I was the mean dad who assigned them each a country to give a report on while we were there. They were the "expert" and picked what we did. My son chose Italy and my daughter picked France. I had Austria and Switzerland.

Personal descriptions are too personal and often made up. I'll just list all of my negatives instead. Im coming out of an 10 year relationship with 2 kids. I had to move back into my parents home since the breakup (yeah yeah...i know). I smoke weed more then anyone you know, and it's only the really danky expensive shit. My dvr has become my best friend in the last 3 months. I am the pickiest eater you will ever meet in your life. I am a total insomniac , usually stay up til 6 am and sleep til noon. Well I'm finally deciding to write this summary even though I have no idea what to say. Some people would call me a real calm, collective laid back type of guy, I tend to agree with them. There's nothing that will phase me or get by me too easily. People watching is always fun to me but I'm the type of person who does something clumsy while they are watching me. My family has recently been a big part of my life and very grateful for them. I can be a man of few words but trust me there are bunch of questions up there which when I feel comfortable enough I'll ask. Takes me a while to warm up to new people (unless I'm heavily intoxicated) but who isn't? I'm not much of dancer or singer but will if needed. I can be very sarcastic at times and joke around a lot but I also know when it's time to be serious.

Starting to work out more and love running or walking around the lake. I love kids (to a certain extent) but I just got hired to be a tutor for the St. Paul school district. My name is Quintin and I'm a God fearing young man growing up in a world full of spiritual warfare. It is often that I attempt to do right by God through Christ, and walk the path of a faithful and trusting Christian. Not only do I fear God, but love Him with all of myself. I'm a small town boy living in the big city. Currently living in the big? town of Eagan. I think of it as a large town because it's 100 times larger than the town I grew up in. I did go to a private Lutheran college but I'd describe myself as a liberal atheist. I work in a typical office environment which I do enjoy but can't say I'll shed a tear when moving on to my next gig.

I'm rather calm and quiet most of the time. I do enjoy to cheer for my local Minnesota teams such as the Vikings and Twins. Have yet to find the excitement of hockey. Sorry Wiild fans. Most people would consider me a geek but I don't follow the timeline of Star Trek or have the desire to dress up for a comic convention. I just enjoy keeping up with the latest technology gadgets and listening to some informative podcasts.

There are many local parks and hiking paths where I can enjoy a lazy stroll. Nobody would confuse me for being a chef but I do enjoy playing Dr. Frankenstein in the kitchen. Most of the time it turns out surprisingly good but sometimes it goes straight into the trash.

Well, I guess I can start by saying that I am a single mom. I have 2 beautiful daughters ages 3 and 8. They are the most important thing to me in my life, and they keep me on the right path. When I'm not with my kids I do love to hang out with my friends, going out to the bar, sing, watch movies and t. v., and listen to music. Well, where to begin? I'm pretty much just trying this out with no expectations at all, just heard about it from friends. As for me, I've been going to school at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, majoring in Chemistry with a math minor. I'll be graduating in December of 2009, which is exciting. When I'm not working, I'm either with my friends doing whatever comes to mind or at home in bed. I sleep a lot. If I could get away with sleeping over 12 hours a night I would. I loooooooove sleep.

Music is a huge part of my life. Although I have no talent for creating it, I love to listen and discover new things. I love to go to shows and rock out. Unless I'm sleeping I usually have music playing. Complete silence bothers me. Lately I have been listening to XM Radio in my car (Alt Nation!) and 89.3 the Current. If I have my iPod on me I'm probably listening to anything from Ludacris to Hanson (for real, it gets pretty random sometimes).

I like video games, but not to the point where I have 10 different gaming systems and spend every waking moment playing. Occasionally you can find me using my roommates X-Box to play 1 vs. 100 or Beautiful Katamari. I also enjoy a good old fashioned game of Bond. People who can't leave their room to use the bathroom because they are too caught up in a video game make me sick. Get a life.

I need to find someone who can motivate me to get out and do things. I feel like I spend far too much time indoors sitting around watching TV and not really making the most out of life, if you know what I mean. Even little things like going to the zoo with me are awesome. By the way, I could go to the zoo everyday. I have a membership and will gladly take you. :)

I feel the need to mention something about this also: I have my sexuality listed as bisexual. I feel like I should clarify here, I am more bi-curious. I'd quickly like to explain the nickname: in my undergrad I was kind of a nerd to psychology from the get go my freshman year, thus earning me the nickname "the Psych Guy" among my friends, when I decided to pursue family therapy, they changed it to "the Family Guy", I do not think it has anything to do with the TV show, but I never asked...

I consider myself a wholesome homegrown Kansan. A little out of my element here in the big city, I think I'm adjusting well enough. I moved here (twin cities) to pursue my MA in Family Therapy. I'm 24 and consider myself 2nd born of 7. For the most part my family and friends are the most important things in my life.

Although I consider myself a military brat, I spent most of my residence in Kansas with the only exotic locations being Honolulu and Phoenix. Still, in 12 years of grade school, I attended 11 different schools. It has given me quite a knowledge base on how to pack, though I hate moving.

I do however enjoy traveling, I used to camp and fish when I was younger. Would be nice to get back into it. My studies have taken me abroad for French in 2005; I am second generation French, though far from fluent; however I can handle most communication as my comprehension is rather good. I have also been to Italy and as of last summer, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, England, and Luxembourg. I must admit I find foreign cultures fascinating and languages alluring. In high school I did a year of American Sign, a year of Spanish, and a semester of Japanese. College and high school I had 6 years in French, though that's going on 3 years ago, use it or lose it.

I call Emporia, KS home, because it is the longest I've ever lived in one place. It is where I did my undergrad, finishing with a BA in Psychology and minors in French and Philosophy.

Music is my world and writing is my best friend. My life is the cinema, and thus I try hard to see every movie that comes out. I also have an eye for the performing arts- theatre, opera, ballet, interpretive dance, I enjoy the aesthetics of dance and movement, the choreography. I love piano, I took my hand at playing, but wasn't in the cards. I can appreciate listening though, and I admire those with the talent to play instruments, or art and photography. I love thunderstorms and frequently sing to myself when I'm alone. For a random note, I collect dragons.

I am not competitive besides with myself. Chess, frisbee, bowling include some activities I enjoy. I was raised by my maternal grandparents through most of my life, so I also enjoy many games like dominoes and scrabble.

Life has thrown me a higher than average amount of curve balls, but I seem to always come out on top, doing what I can, where I am, with what I've got.

I'm a very strong Myers-Briggs ENFP (Champion / Advocate). Supposedly we are only about 2% - 3% of the population, so I'm a special snowflake. Or something. I'm a great idea person, but I suck at follow through. Guess this was due for a change. I'm a Twin Cities transplant, I'm originally from the giant town of WIllmar,MN. I haven't decided yet if I like it in the big city yet. There are a great number of positives but also a great number of negatives. I do enjoy finding unique places to go out to eat and its nice all the professional sports teams close by, especially the Twins. There are a lot more people down here to get to know, yet people seem a bit more standoffish and starting a social network is proving to be more difficult then I anticipated.
I'm fairly laid back, I go with the flow typically, that being said if I have an opinion on something have no problems voicing it.
